About The Role:

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Compare the Market is currently seeking an exceptional Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Toowong. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in driving innovation and efficiency across our development workflows, ensuring seamless operations and delivering outstanding results.

As a pivotal member of our DevOps team, you’ll play a critical role in optimising the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our systems, contributing directly to our technological advancements and business success.

What Youll Do:

Collaborate with stakeholders to drive technical implementation aligned with business and IT strategy.
Contribute to developing standardised continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and reliability standards.
Establish monitoring, alerts, and recovery processes as code from day one.
Contribute to process and procedure improvements.
Assist in designing and implementing business applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Support Engineering team with automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure needs.

What Youll Bring:

As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you will bring to the table a profound comprehension of integrating development and operations, coupled with a steadfast commitment to automating processes and implementing industry best practices. Your passion for continually enhancing our infrastructure will be instrumental in driving our organization towards operational excellence.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex problems and design efficient, scalable solutions, implementing them accurately.
Proficiency as a Software Developer, demonstrating a deep understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems, and debugging techniques.
Effective collaboration skills, enabling clear communication of ideas and seamless adaptation to evolving technologies and trends within a team environment.
Extensive knowledge and practical experience with Linux-based architectures within an IT technology organisation.
Expertise in containerisation technologies, including proficient management of workloads on the Kubernetes platform.
Demonstrated ability in automating, managing, and orchestrating cloud infrastructure using Terraform, particularly with AWS and Cloudflare.
