Position Overview

The Senior Alumni Engagement Officer works as part of a specialised community engagement stream within ANU Advancement, with a key focus on identifying, building and maintaining connections with Alumni of the University. The position is a key point of contact for students, alumni, donors and internal stakeholders in designing and delivering engagement programs, in collaboration with colleagues across the University.

As part of a small team, the Senior Alumni Engagement Officer will be responsible for the design and delivery of strategic alumni communications, programs, and flagship events for the alumni community in order to achieve alumni engagement targets, support a strategy for donor retention and pipeline progression. They will also be responsible for key administrative matters for the Alumni and Advancement team.

This position is based on campus in Canberra and works in partnership with ANU Academic Colleges in delivering and reporting on alumni strategy and operational outcomes. This position works closely with members of the Alumni & Community Engagement team and the related teams across ANU Advancement . Strong collaboration and high-level client service will be essential in this role.
