Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to join our AR Banking/Admin team based in Mascot, which is conveniently located a short two-minute walk from Mascot Train Station and surrounded by cafes, restaurants, shops, and gyms.
This position also acts as a 2IC to the AR Admin Support Manager and will be required to step up as interim supervisor in their absence.
A typical day for you
- Customer account/payment allocations and relationship management
- Assist AR collections teams to process payments
- Engage banking institution on processing shortfall / system error
- Managing our customers adherence to Certificate of Currency
- Maintain compliance with established SLAs with the BUs
- Provide timely and relevant reporting to management.
- Reconciliations of Customer Accounts
- Assist AR Admin Manager with team management and special projects

What you’ll bring to the role:
- Experience within an active credit environment.
- MS Office skills including advanced Excel.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debit/ credit / journals)
- High accuracy and analytical skills
- Certification in finance or credit management – beneficial
- Supervisor or team leader experience – beneficial
