About the Role
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for cyber security? The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking a dynamic and driven Security Operations Centre Team Lead to lead our cyber security team. This key role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the security of public transport operations, integrating security measures across both Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) environments. You will lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing cyber security team to deliver strategic outcomes and ensure the smooth operation of the Security Operations Centre. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to implement robust security measures that protect PTAs operations and digital infrastructure. You will oversee cyber threat management, ensuring the timely resolution of incidents while maintaining compliance with government regulations, standards, and best practices.
Additionally, you will develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures to safeguard PTAs technology landscape, including OT, cloud, and emerging technologies. You will also oversee various business functions such as financial management, procurement compliance, risk management, and performance reporting. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement in security operations, with an emphasis on creating and maintaining comprehensive security policies, standards, and guidelines across PTAs digital landscape, including OT, cloud, and emerging technologies. You will also support the development of security strategies, manage identified risks, and ensure adherence to security controls.
About You!
To be successful in the role, you must possess:
Relevant tertiary / professional qualification in Computer Science or Cyber Security with extensive experience of managing a complex network environment.
Previous experience of managing network and security teams in a complex Operational / information technology environment.
Experience leading and managing teams delivering planning, design, commissioning and maintenance works without disrupting business operations.
Highly developed leadership skills with the ability to work with others at all levels and across and organisation in a professional way along with the ability to empower teams and individuals.
Excellent, written, verbal interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain strategic relations, and deal with high level consultations and negotiations.
Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills including the ability to provide innovative thinking in identifying solution to complex business problems.
