School Crossing Supervisor – Part time – St Laurence’s Parish School – Forbes

In this Role, youll
Become a Road Safety Hero that is held in very high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of our kids, parents, teachers, and local motorists. Youll also grow to be a much-loved familiar face around the school with a unique opportunity to touch the lives of countless families.
St Laurence’s Parish School shifts fall between the school zone hours of 2:45 3:45PM, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour in the afternoon. School Crossings require 10 hours of supervising per fortnight.
You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation, and you will also be compensated during school holidays from Terms 1 to 3.
About you
You’re a community minded person who would like to contribute.
Youd get a kick out of making community relationships, keeping kids safe whilst earning a weekly wage for doing something you love and enjoy.
You’re reliable and prepared to show up for your community – in good or bad weather.
Youll display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers.

Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment. All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided. And one more thing! As youll be working with children on our roads, your willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment is vital. Dont worry if you havent done this before, we will help you through the process! If you already have a Working with Children Check, thats fantastic as that will speed up the process.
