About the Client:

Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety, and environmental performance.

About the Role:

WorkPac is currently in search of a Scheduler Execution to join our esteemed client’s team, based on site. This position is FIFO from Perth on a 5:2, 4:3 roster for a 9 month duration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage a 12-week rolling schedule for Rail Maintenance activities.
• Ensure all required parts, access clearances, and crew capacities are available and approved.
• Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate system changes or unexpected deviations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to confirm resource availability and approvals.
• Support the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of maintenance works.
• Regularly review and refine the schedule to reflect updated priorities and feedback.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in planning or scheduling, ideally within a rail or maintenance environment
• Strong computer literacy with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using SAP or similar scheduling systems (highly regarded)
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work delivery
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Good problem-solving skills and adaptability to change
