Scaffold Design Engineer

THE ROLE

We now have the exciting opportunity for a Scaffold Design Engineer to join our Scaffold Operations Team.

As a Scaffold Design Engineer, you will be playing a pivotal role in our scaffold related activities across the Pilbara, Goldfields and Queensland Operations. This position is full time, working Monday to Friday from our Head Office and is responsible for:

• Leading the creation and management of scaffold designs according to Australian standards
• Managing end to end deliverables on multiple and interdisciplinary projects
• Managing tender requests, reviews and evaluations
• Overseeing procurement of scaffolding materials
• Facilitating effective communication with Scaffolding Leadership team and clients to address technical queries and ensure effective project delivery
• Supporting the continuous improvement of scaffold design innovations and projects efficiency

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Engineering Degree (Structural)
• Extensive experienced in temporary work design and estimating in the mining industry, oil & gas, construction or commercial works
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and tender packages requests for quotation
• High level skills: AutoCAD, Navis Works, MS software and Avontus
• Project Management experience is highly desirable
• Exceptional analytical and organisational skills
• Strong commitment to OH&S
• Experience in multidisciplinary environments
• Diligent and methodical approach with excellent communication skills
