Role Overview:

  • Position: Sales Representative (Roofing Experience Required)
  • Reports to: Area Sales Manager or Branch Manager
  • Key Focus: Grow sales, margin, and market share in a competitive market with short lead times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management: Achieve branch sales KPIs, including sales volumes, margin targets, and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Market Intelligence: Report on new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise profitability.
  • CRM Maintenance: Ensure internal CRM systems are up to date.
  • Health & Safety: Champion “Zero Harm” and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Relationships:

  • Customers, Operations Team, Sales/CSR’s/Trade Sales, Contractors.

Competencies and Experience:

  • Experience: 5 years in sales, with business planning and organisational skills.
  • MUST HAVE ROOFING EXPERIENCE: This is a requirement of the role.
  • Skills: Strong customer focus, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
  • Attributes: Results-oriented, innovative, and able to manage risk and focus on costs and profits.
  • Growth Aspirations: This is a role for someone who wants to grow with the organisation.
