The Role:
You will be critical in enhancing our safety culture across our Aquaculture operations. You will provide specialist operational advice and assistance for Safety matters and recommend and implement practical solutions in line with Harvest Road Oceans operational models and associated legislation. Conduct the necessary risk assessments across the sites to ensure the necessary reporting and issues are addressed with leaders and teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on WHS legislation and compliance.
- Conduct and support incident investigations using ICAM methodology.
- Review and maintain H&S management plans and risk registers.
- Lead and participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-start meetings.
About You:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or certification in Health and Safety.
- At least 3 years experience in a similar SHEQ role.
- Proven expertise in hazard and risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and WHS legislation.
- Strong investigation skills, with ICAM Lead Investigator accreditation (not essential but highly regarded)
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence change.
- Current Class C Drivers License and willingness to travel across WA.
