Our trades team is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. The role is on a contract basis for 6 months, with the potential to convert to a permanent position after 3 months based on performance.
The Role:
As the Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee electrical maintenance and operations on site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and efficient functioning of electrical systems. You will also work closely with the production team, and on occasion, be required to step in as a Production Supervisor for short durations minutes). This position requires prior experience in a crushing plant environment, as well as leadership and hands-on electrical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the electrical maintenance team.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems on site.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and carry out corrective actions as necessary.
- Occasionally step in as a Production Supervisor during break periods (no more than minutes).
- Coordinate and ensure all electrical activities align with production schedules.
- Maintain clear communication with site management and teams to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- S26 Statutory Supervisor qualifications (essential).
- Electrical Trade Qualification (must have an unrestricted WA Electrical License).
- Previous experience in an iron ore crushing plant environment (highly preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small, dynamic team.
- Previous experience in a FIFO role and ability to manage site-specific requirements.
- Construction Industry White Card (preferred).
- Proven ability to manage safety and compliance standards on site.
