Ambrose Construct Group is seeking an experienced Roofing Supervisor to join our Events Team on a FIFO 10 days on / 4 days off roster.
Reporting to the CAT Event Construction Manager, this role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality insurance repairs by providing technical roofing expertise, quality assurance oversight, and contractor support across roofing projects.
This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone with strong roofing knowledge, attention to detail, and experience within insurance or restoration environments.
The Role
As Roofing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the technical oversight and quality assurance of roofing works completed by subcontractors on insurance claims.

The Role
As Roofing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the technical oversight and quality assurance of roofing works completed by subcontractors on insurance claims.
You will:
- Conduct site inspections to assess workmanship quality on repair and replacement projects
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, insurer guidelines and approved scopes
- Identify defects, incomplete works or scope deviations and issue rectification directives
- Provide technical sign-off and completion documentation where required
- Conduct independent roof inspections (storm, impact and wear & tear differentiation)
- Prepare detailed roof reports including damage analysis, repair vs replace recommendations and photographic evidence
- Assist Estimators with complex roof take-offs and technical assessments
- Provide guidance on repair methodology, sequencing and WHS considerations
- Support contractor onboarding, performance reviews and toolbox talks
- Review SWMS and ensure compliance with working-at-heights legislation
- Contribute to internal QA processes and continuous improvement initiatives
What Youll Bring
- Advanced knowledge of residential and light commercial roofing systems (metal, tile, flashings, sarking, insulation)
- Strong understanding of storm damage assessment and insurance repair methodology
- Experience in roof measurement and take-offs
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC requirements
- Strong technical reporting and documentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
- Ability to effectively communicate with contractors, estimators and insurers
Qualifications & Experience
- Trade qualification in Roof Plumbing / Roofing (or equivalent industry experience)
- Minimum 5 years roofing experience (supervisory or QA experience highly regarded)
- Experience within insurance building or restoration environment desirable
- Working at Heights certification
- White Card (Construction Induction)
