About the role:

Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the position is responsible for the effective and safe delivery of LPG to domestic and commercial customers.

The main activities are road tanker filling and discharging, tanker hoseman and exchange cylinder filling and deliveries as required.

Key Responsibilities

• The position is required to operate the LPG Tanker and Cylinder Truck in accordance with statutory requirements and the HSE and procedural policies and procedures of Origin Energy. The range of activities may include:
• Road tanker filling and discharging
• Reporting Customer compliance
• LPG storage
• LPG transfers
• Cylinder delivering and filling
• Forklift operation
• Safe Operation of a Dangerous Goods Vehicle
• This role is Monday to Friday with possibility of overtime and weekend work

• National Heavy Vehicle Drivers LicenceHeavy Rigid (HR).
• Dangerous Goods Licence – Class 2 Flammable Gases.
• Forklift licence is advantageous.
• A minimum of three years truck driving experience in fuel or gas industry
• Handling Hazardous Substances, with particular emphasis on Hydrocarbon products.
• Inspections and preventative maintenance of Heavy Vehicles.
• Minimum Year 10 Education.
• Basic computer/tablet knowledge
