Patch Personnel have partnered with an Australian Services company to source a Rig Mechanic to join a their team on a highly sought 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation.
This position represents a career changing opportunity to work with a team of industry recognised and respected crews to develop your career in oil and gas on specialised Well Intervention and Servicing units and associated equipment.
The primary responsibility of the Rig Mechanic is to act as the first point of contact for all repairs for the Servicing division. You will develop and implement preventative maintenance systems, inspection schedules, processes and procedures and perform routine and scheduled maintenance or repair work on rigs and other plant equipment.
This position will be suited to an experienced Rig Mechanic or a Diesel Fitter / Mechanic with that is seeking to further develop their career and seeking to specialise and grow your skills within a stable and supportive team.
To be successful in this position you will need to have:
- Trade qualification Mechanical, Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle or similar
- Ideally 5 years experience in Drilling/Workover and associated plant
- Hydraulic experience is essential
- A positive, proactive approach to your team and work with a strong track record of reliability and integrity
- HC/MC Truck Licence (Preferred), LR Truck Licence (Essential).
This is a permanent position paid as a generous daily rate.
