Expressions of Interest are invited for the various positions of Relieving Operator, based at Council’s Inverell Works Centre. The successful applicant shall be responsible for the satisfactory operation of any plant or vehicle on construction or maintenance work and general duties under supervision.

Qualifications
NSW School Certificate/ Record of School Achievement or acceptable education standard;
Trade Certificate in Plant Operation;
NSW Class HC Drivers Licence;
Traffic Controller Certificate or Traffic Control Work Training Card;
SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card (White Card); and
Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker accreditation.
Skills and Experience
Experience operating road construction plant including graders, rollers, scrapers, excavators, loaders, tractors, backhoes and front-end loaders.
Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award . The classification for the position will be up to Operational Band 1, Level 2, Grade 4. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1, to $1, gross per week. In addition, a Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance of $ per hour will be paid where applicable.
