We are seeking Registered Nurses to join the team at our aged care home Bethanie Waters in Port Kennedy. Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role is offered on a casual basis. The vacant shifts are Wednesday and Friday.
About the role:
As a Registered Nurse you are responsible for clinical care and case management. Supervision, direction, support and leadership of nursing and care/support staff will also be required.
- Take immediate action to ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner providing direction to Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers
- Complete assessment and/or admission requirements
- Maintain an effective referral system to senior nursing staff, medical staff and/or allied health staff
- Ensure that clinical records reflect care, in line with all accreditation standards and legislative requirements
- Provide coaching/mentoring/training to staff where required
About you:
You genuinely care about your team and residents and enriching the ageing experience. You will also bring:
- Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Relevant clinical experience in aged care including a solid understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and AN-ACC funding model
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to confidently use clinical information systems
- Commitment to a person-centred care approach when providing care services
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
- Current NDIS Workers Screening check or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations 3x COVID vaccinations and annual flu vaccination
