Registered Nurse – Aged Care – Sunshine Coast (north)

The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be the superhero of a medium-sized aged care facility on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast (cape not included). You’ll have your Care Manager by your side, offering endless support and guidance, so you can focus on what you do best—being awesome. The facility has a relaxed, homely vibe where you’ll have the chance to make a real difference in residents’ lives, all while enjoying the coastal sunshine (and maybe a coffee break or two!).

  

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate, and mentor the clinical team to deliver exceptional care
• Deliver person-centred care in accordance with organisational policies and guidelines
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities in clinical and care service delivery
• Manage workplace dynamics and resolve conflicts effectively
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for residents

  

Key Candidate Requirements

• AHPRA registration
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Valid National Police Check
• Proven experience in Aged Care, including dementia and managing challenging behaviours
• Familiarity with clinical documentation systems (e.g. iCare, Autumncare etc)
