The Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated person, reporting to the Regional General Manager, to provide operations leadership to the team in Q.L.D. You will be passionate about building a strong, customer-focused team that keeps raising the standards in delivering excellent customer service. This means leading from the front, showing initiative, and being actively involved in all aspects of Branch operations. Become a key driver of branch improvements and efficiencies.This is not a role for people that like managing from a computer in an office.
Duties include:
• Manage, support, coach and mentor, Branch Managers, and staff in the region
• Ability to coach and influence team members with exceptional service that grows profitable relationships
• Successful and proven leadership skills
• Develop and implement forecasts & financial objectives for the region
• Assist Branch Managers with strategies to increase low sales, dormant accounts
• Mentor & assist all branches in the region to develop their Branch business plan
• Generate & analyse reports in relation to budgets, sales, wages
• Understand region budgets, KPI’s, P&L with aim to increase margins
• Liaise with National Branch Support Centre Departments, Procurement, Marketing
• Organise & coordinate in association with Marketing, Information Nights and region events
• Mentor & assist branches to fully utilise CRM
• Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information
• Communicate Information to Senior Leadership Team
• Ensure each branch obtains highest internal compliance scores
• Ensure branches in region have correct stock profiles
• Assist Branch Managers with recruitment & Induction of new staff
• Ensure staff development & training objectives are in place
• Ensure all activities conform with relevant government regulations, company policies, standards and ethics.
• Ensure the right disciplines and structures are in place to drive consistency, cost effectiveness and practical outcomes.
• Ability to build long term relationships with customers
• Support training and development
• Ability to make sound decisions and resolve problems
• Aim to increase the benchmark GP%
• Oversee purchasing & inventory control
• Credit Control and recovery of outstanding debt.
• Security & maintenance of the premises, equipment & vehicles
• Ensure company compliance standards are followed
Fortnightly Pay Cycle
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol screening.
