Schedule: Flexible availability for weekends and public holidays required

With over 20 years of experience, we are a trusted social enterprise managing resource recovery and transfer stations across Victoria and Queensland. We’re proud to partner with Ballarat City Council to deliver positive environmental and social outcomes through the Ballarat Recycling Facility.
The Role
We’re seeking two part-time Recycling Attendants to join our team at the Ballarat Recycling Facility. As a Recycling Attendant, you’ll work closely with customers to guide them on safe and effective recycling practices, salvage materials for reuse, and contribute to our mission of reducing waste while promoting sustainability.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist customers with recycling and disposal practices.
- Identify and sort recyclable materials such as metals, wood, cardboard, and household goods.
- Help move materials across the facility in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Support our Reuse Shop, giving second life to items like clothing, building materials, and garden supplies.

- Bonus: Experience with forklifts or waste management (not required—we’ll train you!).

Additional Requirements
To keep everyone safe, successful candidates will complete:
- A National Police Check
- A pre-employment medical assessment
- Drug and alcohol testing (including random testing on the job).
