Primary Role:
To ensure the organisation is resourced with competent, compliant personnel aligned to project demand, shutdown schedules, and operational requirements.
The Recruitment, Mobilisation & Workforce Planning Lead owns end-to-end recruitment execution and workforce readiness. The role is operational and delivery focused.
Key responsibilities included, but not limited to for this role are:
Deliver timely recruitment outcomes aligned to project schedules.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Source, screen, and coordinate candidate selection.
- Maintain candidate talent pools for shutdowns and peak demand.
- Work with Project Managers to define workforce requirements.
- Ensure employment documentation is complete prior to mobilisation.
Ensure all personnel are compliant and ready for site deployment.
- Coordinate medicals, inductions, licences, and training verification.
- Maintain competency matrix and licence tracking.
- Ensure site-specific onboarding requirements are met.
- Coordinate mobilisation logistics with Assets & Logistics.
- Track labour availability against project demand.
Support delivery teams with forward workforce planning.
- Forecast labour demand with Project Managers.
- Identify workforce gaps and escalate early.
- Model shutdown manpower requirements.
- Provide labour trend reporting to Operations.
Support labour cost control and commercial discipline.
- Align recruitment activity with approved workforce budgets.
- Provide visibility on labour rates and availability trends.
- Support project cost modelling through labour data.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Understanding of individual client HR, recruiting and mobilisation requirements.
- Competency in managing the recruitment system, Job Adder.
Mandatory Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal skills and a high-level of attention to detail
- Effective team leadership capability
- Ability to prioritise the workload utilising effective time management skills.
- Very strong customer focus and a desire to work hard to achieve customer goals.
