Records Officer

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is vital to supporting Moira Shire Councils document management system, ensuring effective and efficient records management service process. 

Administering council records using the Council Electronic Document Management System (EDRMS) and Ezescan to ensure a professional records management process, whilst simultaneously monitoring and upgrading the information to support and facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement. 

The Records Officer will be regularly reviewing and identifying improvements to the efficiency of existing operations, procedures and practices and providing basic assistance and direction to customers with record management enquiries. 

This role will see you work with various departments in facilitating smooth document flow and the maintenance of updated records.

ABOUT YOU

As a naturally meticulous person with a high attention to detail, including grammar and spelling, you will enjoy the routine and structure of document processing. 

You will react quickly in early identification of any issues or inconsistencies, ensuring corrective actions can be carried out promptly to maintain organisational operations to continue with minimal disruption. 

You will be a methodical worker who carefully plans and executes tasks, paying particular attention to the finer details, and have an eagerness to stay up to date with knowledge, training and any accreditation.
