Due to an internal promotion Northern Stars Corporate Office in Subiaco currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join us in a permanent and full-time capacity.

Reporting to the Senior Receptionist, this busy role is considered key within the business, as you will be a focal point of our office and the first contact for any visitors arriving at Northern Star.

Here is what awaits you:

  • Reception duties; oversee the switchboard, answering and transferring calls in a professional and timely manner, as well as providing ad-hoc administrative support across the business.
  • Be the first point of contact for all visitors arriving at the office, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
  • Maintain the boardroom and meeting room facilities, as well as overseeing the coordination of all room bookings.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and facilitate any booking requirements for couriers.
  • Keep printing / stationery rooms organised and well stocked, and submit stationery orders as required (generally once a week)
  • Ensure the various kitchen facilities are well maintained and stocked, including the cleaning of coffee machines daily.
  • Process orders for kitchen supplies as and when required, as well as submitting orders for any catering requirements.
  • Assist with travel bookings, including for flights and accommodation requirements for employees and contractors.
  • Use of Pronto, Redmap and INX Software as required.

Experience:

  • Experience in a similar reception or customer service role will be highly regarded; however, the success of this role is more around attitude and personality.
  • Worked previously within a large organisation, ideally within the Mining or Resources Industry.
  • Possess a high level of computer literacy across the MS Office, with exposure to Pronto, Redmap and INX Software also advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a busy role, where priorities are always changing and where maintaining a calm, collected demeanour is a necessity to the success of your day.

Eligibility.

Northern Stars pre-employment process includes completing a full pre-employment medical, confirming you hold the relevant Australian work rights, and the ability to apply for an Australian National Police Clearance.
