The Company

The Role

Genus Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to support a major projects in Tasmania. The Quality Manager will conduct audits, manage and monitor the schedule and quality performance of site operations. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor the progress of the works against approved programs daily
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports to manage contract deliverables
  • Carry out site audit as directed by the Contract Administrators
  • Monitor and report on contractors progress and quality
  • Work closely with delivery team to prepare variations and claims supporting document

Essential Requirements/Skills/Qualifications

  • Previous Quality Management / Quality Control experience, or equivalent in the construction and or telecommunications industry
  • Drivers Licence “C” class
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder relationship management
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with data analysis and reporting experience
  • Diligent, strong initiative and positive attitude
  • Sound understanding of Health & Safety requirements in the workplace, and how to monitor/reduce HSE risk
  • Highly developed planning and multi-tasking ability, in order to deliver in a high paced work environment with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work 3:1 roster
  • FIFO from Perth only

  

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in utilities and/or construction and/or resources industry.
  • Safety highlight Cert 4 WHS also desirable.
  • Lead auditing qualifications required or desirable (ISO Relevant).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems, manage, and meet deadlines and maintain high quality of work.
  • Sustainability experience is highly desirable
