About the Role & Private Practice

Join a well-established, family-owned private practice in Mackay dedicated to providing high-quality psychological services across various client needs, including NDIS, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and general psychology. With a strong reputation for a laid-back and supportive environment, this practice offers professionals the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexibility and independence in their role.

Due to increased demand, we are seeking a skilled Psychologist to support clients across diverse presentations. Experience working with children and adolescents is desirable but not essential. Provisional psychologists are welcome to apply for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions for a diverse caseload.
  • Deliver assessments and treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Work with NDIS participants, EAP clients, and general mental health presentations.
  • Maintain clinical documentation and reports in line with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team while working autonomously.

Skills & Requirements

  • Full or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.
  • Experience in NDIS, EAP, and general psychology settings.
  • Ability to work independently and manage an autonomous caseload.
  • Strong communication and clinical skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents (desirable but not essential).
