Project Manager (PERTH)

A well-established Perth-based civil contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager with strong FRP concrete expertise to lead the delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects valued up to $20 million.

This role is ideal for a commercially astute Project Manager who thrives on full ownership of project outcomes, from cost control and program management through to client relationships and team leadership.

The Opportunity


As Project Manager, you’ll take responsibility for end-to-end delivery of civil construction projects, with a strong focus on FRP-reinforced concrete structures. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in driving commercial performance, managing risk, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of civil construction projects valued up to $20m from award to completion
• Manage all commercial aspects including budgets, cost reporting, forecasting, and variations
• Provide technical leadership on FRP concrete design coordination, methodology, and installation
• Develop and maintain detailed project programs and procurement schedules
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate site teams, engineers, and subcontractors
• Proactively manage risk, contract compliance, and project margins
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality requirements

About You

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction for contractors in Australia
• Demonstrated experience delivering FRP concrete / FRP reinforcement projects
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent cost control and reporting capability
• Experience managing projects valued up to $20 million in Australia
• Confident leader with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Solid understanding of Australian Standards, contracts, and construction methodologies
