Position Overview:
Securecorp is seeking a talented and motivated Security Installation Project Manager to join our retail installations team on a permanent full time basis.
As an Electronic Security Installation Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the deployment of security systems. You will be responsible for designing, quoting and delivering various electronic security equipment, including alarm systems, access control systems, surveillance cameras and other related technologies. Your expertise will ensure our clients receive reliable and effective security solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial system design, create system layouts for client approval in AutoCAD.
- Prepare quotations for installation to the client.
- Manage the end-to-end installation of electronic security systems, including Access Control, Electronic Alarm and CCTV systems compliant with client approved plans and specifications.
- Create and administer site specific SWMS and other WHSE documentation as required.
- Ensure each installation is completed within budget, and on time to client.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends and technological advancements.
- Ensure the installation teams adhere to all safety and compliance regulations during installation.
- Ensure project documentation, as built plans, sign off forms are complete, accurate and submitted to client.
- Manage both internal installation teams and sub-contractor installation teams where required.
Qualifications / Eligibility:
- Certification in electronics, security systems or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Class 2 QLD Security Advisors and Installation License.
- Must have full-time, permanent work rights in Australia.
- Valid drivers license and the ability to travel to various client sites.
- General Construction Industry White Card.
- Proven experience in Project Managing the installation of electronic security systems.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuitry, wiring and components.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel etc)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Experience:
- Working knowledge relating to the quotation for install of Integriti & Tecom Access Control and Intruder systems.
- Working knowledge relating to the quotation for install of CCTV systems, particularly in Milestone, NX Witness, March Networks.
- Experience with SimPRO
