The Opportunity

As a Project Manager, you will oversee project execution, ensuring optimal use of resources, adherence to timelines, and alignment with safety and quality standards. You’ll play a key role in managing project operations, monitoring progress, and collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight Lead and manage all phases of project lifecycles, ensuring projects are completed within scope, timeframes, and budget.
  • Resource Management Coordinate labour, materials, and resources to maximise productivity and project profitability.
  • Stakeholder Communication Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
  • Team Coordination Guide and manage tradespeople to maintain quality standards, meet deadlines, and deliver top-notch work. Keep teams on track, ensuring that everyone is aligned with project objectives and timelines.
  • Quality Control Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with relevant Australian Standards.
  • Risk & Safety Management Develop and monitor risk management plans, upholding safety standards in line with WHS principles.

The person

  • Bachelors degree in Project Management or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Current, valid drivers license.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects, trades and subcontractors within the building or construction industry.
  • Excellent communication skills; with the ability to negotiate positive outcomes while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
  • Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
