Project Manager – Land Development & 3 Waters
Location: Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience) vehicle, phone, laptop, and healthcare benefits
About the Role:
We are on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex land development and 3 waters infrastructure projects across the Bay of Plenty region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established civil contractor with a strong reputation and a solid pipeline of work.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Project Leadership: Manage all phases of land development and infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
- Technical Oversight: Apply your in-depth knowledge of 3 waters infrastructure and civil construction practices.
- Financial Management: Take full ownership of monthly claims, cashflow forecasting, and budget control.
- Team Coordination: Lead site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Health & Safety: Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all H&S regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in land development and 3 waters projects in New Zealand
- Proven ability to manage complex civil projects from planning through to completion
- Strong understanding of local regulations and compliance standards
- Demonstrated experience with monthly claims and cashflow monitoring
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
