Project Engineer

The Company

My client is an international food company looking for its next Project Engineer. The exciting opportunity has become available to assist with a number of projects over the next 1-2 years on an ongoing contract basis.
  
This role is based in Eastern Melbourne.
  
The Role

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the responsibilities of the role includes:

• Coordination of strong business cases, accurate budgets, timelines and fit-for-purpose technical solutions development
• Mange implementation including safety of the plant, products and personnel
• Optimise on the delivery of cost-effective, timely solutions
• Demonstrating and delivering quality & HSE excellence across all projects
• Providing effective engineering solutions and project execution
• Liaising across internal and external stakeholders, managing technical queries

Your Background

In order to be successful in this role, you will be:

• Tertiary qualified Electrical Engineer
• Ideally 5-10 years experience within engineering within an FMCG manufacturing facility working with capital investment
• A combination of hands-on and strategic experience
• AutoCAD and MS office suite proficiency
• Able to work within a team environment
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
