Seeking a talented Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at Breight Group!! 
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating on-site engineering activities to ensure the successful achievement of project time and budget objectives. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Coordinate and administer engineering activities, ensuring compliance with all project requirements.
  • Interpret designs and specifications with precision and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to the improvement of work execution processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of site budgets and reports.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to the program, and providing regular reports to the Team Leader.
  • Attend site meetings and effectively manage trades, site supervisors, and other roles as necessary.
  • Assign work, conduct reviews for accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Act as a troubleshooter, promptly alerting the appropriate team members of potential problems.
  • Maintain high standards of work quality and compliance with quality control frameworks.
  • Build strong relationships and networks with clients and project teams.
  • Provide engineering and technical support for project procurement activities.

  Qualifications, Skills & Expertise:

  • Essential qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent, Project Management Professional certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the engineering industry.
  • Proven ability and demonstrated experience in project planning, contract and vendor management, estimating, and delivery.
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
  • Personal accountability and a commitment to maintaining high work standards.
  • Awareness and understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and practices.
