Seeking a talented Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at Breight Group!!
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating on-site engineering activities to ensure the successful achievement of project time and budget objectives. If you have a passion for engineering, project management, and a drive for excellence, this position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Coordinate and administer engineering activities, ensuring compliance with all project requirements.
Interpret designs and specifications with precision and attention to detail.
Contribute to the improvement of work execution processes.
Assist in the preparation of site budgets and reports.
Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to the program, and providing regular reports to the Team Leader.
Attend site meetings and effectively manage trades, site supervisors, and other roles as necessary.
Assign work, conduct reviews for accuracy and adherence to standards.
Act as a troubleshooter, promptly alerting the appropriate team members of potential problems.
Maintain high standards of work quality and compliance with quality control frameworks.
Build strong relationships and networks with clients and project teams.
Provide engineering and technical support for project procurement activities.

Qualifications, Skills & Expertise:

Essential qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent, Project Management Professional certification.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the engineering industry.
Proven ability and demonstrated experience in project planning, contract and vendor management, estimating, and delivery.
Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
Personal accountability and a commitment to maintaining high work standards.
Awareness and understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and practices.
