Job Title: Project Engineer – High-Rise Residential
Location: Gold Coast, QLD
About the Company
Our client is a well-respected Tier 1/2 builder/developer delivering landmark projects across the Gold Coast and beyond. With an impressive pipeline of high-rise residential developments, they are now seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team on a major project (Double Tower).
About the Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Team, you will play a key role in coordinating structural, façade and services packages to ensure programme, quality and cost objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate structural, façade and services packages to ensure programme targets are met
- Manage subcontractors across multiple levels and work fronts
- Oversee structural works including post-tension slabs, core construction and concrete pours
- Monitor critical path activities and assist with look-ahead planning
- Implement and manage quality systems including ITPs and inspections
- Support procurement, contract administration and variation management
- Assist with cost control, forecasting and progress reporting
- Ensure compliance with NCC, Australian Standards and WHS requirements
- Liaise with consultants to resolve technical queries and buildability challenges
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- 3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer on high-rise residential or mixed-use projects
- Strong understanding of structural sequencing in multi-storey builds
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme outcomes
- Sound knowledge of Australian construction standards and WHS requirements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
