The Role:

Looking for an experienced Project Architect with a deep understanding of aged care design to join this Surry Hills-based team. In this role, you’ll oversee projects from concept to completion, blending technical expertise and creative problem-solving to deliver spaces that enhance the quality of life for older adults. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful projects in a supportive and collaborative studio environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading aged care projects through all stages, from concept design to construction completion.
  • Collaborating with clients, consultants, and team members to ensure thoughtful, functional, and sustainable outcomes.
  • Applying expert knowledge of aged care standards, compliance, and best practices to inform your design decisions.
  • Driving project timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating information flow with external consultants, technicians, builders, and stakeholders.
  • Mentoring Graduates and fostering a culture of shared learning and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Architectural qualifications with 5 years of post-graduate experience [Essential]
  • At least 2 years of experience with aged care or seniors living projects [Essential]
  • Comprehensive knowledge of aged care design standards, compliance requirements, and sector-specific nuances [Essential]
  • Proficiency in Revit [Highly Desired]
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for architecture [Essential]
