They specialise in the design, manufacture, delivery, and installation of turnkey transportable modular building solutions for a wide range of industries, including government, commercial, residential, mining, and oil and gas sectors. Their modular building solutions are completely customisable to suit the unique needs of their clients, and they have a professional design team that includes qualified structural drafters and building information modellers to capture their client’s vision.

Your new role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join their team in Australia. As a Project Administrator, you will work alongside a Project Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of construction projects. You will be responsible for managing daily administrative functions of a project or program, liaising with other professionals and consultants to define outcomes and timelines, collecting and analysing project data and reporting on outcomes, coordinating and administering meetings, including issuing of minutes, processing invoices and purchase orders, managing project documentation and contracts, raising issues and implementing changes to contracts, providing daily support to project team as directed by management, overseeing work performed by contractors and reporting on variations, assisting Project Managers with budgeting and regular reporting, filing and documentation management, applying for building permits, ensuring compliance with electrical, plumbing, and other relevant regulations, compiling and managing site work documentation, and inputting relevant documentation into the project management system.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, it is essential to have a proven record in a project administration role.

Proven experience in general administrative/clerical tasks essential
Previous experience with MS Projects essential
Previous experience using ‘Jobpac’ software is very favourable
Flexibility around software programs – ability to quickly adapt to multiple niche programs
Exemplary communication skills – written and verbal
Highly organised – there are many moving parts to this role, the ability to remain organised is vital
Attention to detail – A keen and discerning eye
