Our client, a nationally recognised leader in industrial insulation and protective solutions, is seeking a skilled Production Engineer. With decades of industry expertise, they specialise in mechanical insulation, fireproofing, corrosion control, sheet metal fabrication, and heat tracingserving key sectors such as oil & gas, mining, energy, and marine.

Role Overview:
This role involves overseeing safety compliance, project coordination, client liaison, and quality control across multiple industrial insulation projects. The successful candidate will manage estimates, resource planning, material specifications, and project execution plans, while also supporting warehouse operations and client communications. It is a hands-on position requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure implementation and compliance with safety and QA/QC systems
  • Support project controls including estimates, job tracking, and resource planning
  • Liaise with clients and assist with quoting, sales, and business development
  • Interpret isometric drawings to compile MTOs and BOMs
  • Upload estimates and manage project data in Sybiz software
  • Track project costs, variations, and prepare client invoices
  • Maintain tender folders and issue job numbers
  • Provide admin and warehouse support, including forklift use when required
  • Handle phone enquiries, EOIs, and general problem-solving
  • Log daily customer interactions using the Sybiz CRM

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Technology or similar qualification
  • At least 3 years of similar experience
