The Position
Reporting to the Product Support Supervisor and working as part of a national team, you will act as the primary point of contact for dealer personnel to address product issues or customer concerns for the MacDon business. You will cover a pool of dealers across Southern NSW, North Eastern Victoria and Eastern Victoria.
You will:
- Lead in territory investigation and troubleshooting, assisting with resolving any problems, and reporting them through to head office.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Dealer support personnel to ensure a positive experience and direct point of contact to discuss any equipment.
- Provide technical training for dealer technicians and end users
- Perform demonstrations of new products
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with relevant agricultural equipment and its operations
- Experience with grain harvesting equipment would be highly beneficial
- A relevant university degree
- A technical background in diagnosis and report of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systems.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal with an ability to work closely with remote teams.
- Comfortable with regular travel in a role, with expectation of around % of this role being on the road.
- Experience working within a relevant dealer, or speaking with dealer technicians would be beneficial.
