Reporting into Project Support Supervisor, the Product Support Advisor will join our Regional Team on a FIFO basis at our Paraburdoo branch. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Caterpillar equipment for our valued customers. You will also conduct regular equipment inspections, ensuring adherence to safe working practices and lifesaving rules.
This is an exciting opportunity to support a new fleet of CAT equipment in a state-of-the-art workshop. Youll enjoy a short commute to accommodation (camp) and provide warranty support, planned component change-outs, and enhance fleet performance for our loyal customers.
Although this is a hands-on role, it offers less tool time and focuses on maximising operational time and product reliability through maintenance and technical support.
Department Overview: Paraburdoo which is an Iron Ore mine located in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia, 80kms south of Tom Price.
Roster: 8 On, 8 Off Days 12hrs/day
What Youll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Caterpillar equipment
- Conduct regular equipment inspections, ensuring safe working practices
- Provide warranty support and planned component change-outs
- Enhance fleet performance and maximise operational time and product reliability
Skills & Experience:
- Australian Recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post-trade experience
- Prior Field Service or Regional Minesite experience maintaining similar fleet type
- Customer Relationship Building Skills
- The ability to advise, whilst train, offer good customer service and jump on the tools when needed
- Current Forklift Licence, EWP, Dogging & Basic Rigging, Working at Heights
- Sound maintenance and repairs experience with Large Trucks, Loaders, Dozers and Graders
