Reporting to the Project Support Supervisor, the Product Support Advisor will maximise fleet availability and product reliability by providing maintenance support and technical guidance to support maintenance and repair best practice across a diverse range of large mining equipment. This is a partly hands-on role (but 50% less tool time) which requires you to carry out diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on customer Caterpillar equipment as required. As an Advisor you will also be required to undertake regular equipment inspections on multiple CAT machines including but not limited to drills, loaders, graders, dozers, excavators and a range of off highway trucks.

Location: Eliwana
 

Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off, 12.5hr shifts (inclusive of 30 mins. break)

To be successful the following is required:

  • An Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate and proven post trade experience with CAT equipment
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting and fleet performance reviews.
  • Extensive Traditional Caterpillar Fleet experience is essential
  • Ability to identify and suggest opportunities to increase fleet availability, as well as lower operational costs are positive indicators of success for this role.
  • A positive attitude towards safety and exposure to safe work practices and systems
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
  • The ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
  • A passion for learning new skills
  • HR-Licence
