Product Integration Manager

The Company

Resourceful Recruitment has been engaged by an Australian-owned energy storage technology company to recruit a Product Integration Manager based in Brisbane. Backed by strong capital and corporate support, our client is scaling up in and building the team to match. Being a purpose-driven group of engineers, innovators and problem-solvers who value integrity, creativity and big-picture thinking. If you’re passionate about sustainability and want to make your mark on a pivotal green technology, now’s the time to join this exciting company.

Your Role

Reporting to the Head of Product Development, you’ll be the linchpin connecting subsystems, teams and timelines across our entire product development function. You’ll own the PD Integration Roadmap, facilitate critical forums and design modern ways of working that keep innovation moving fast without losing control. You’ll establish governance frameworks, manage our IP repository and ensure seamless information flow between Product Development, Engineering and Compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll directly enable breakthrough technology by removing bottlenecks and creating clarity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and continuously updating the PD Integration Roadmap, linking subsystem activities, testing and milestones to overall development and demonstration goals
  • Coordinating activities between subsystem owners, PD engineers, simulation teams and the engineering manager
  • Facilitating all PD forums — including weekly syncs, subsystem integration reviews and PD Steerco — ensuring well-structured agendas, documentation and actionable outcomes
  • Actively managing dependencies and interrelationships across subsystems to prevent bottlenecks and misalignment
  • Supporting the Head of PD and Manager of PD in balancing R&D and delivery objectives through clear visibility of workload and progress
  • Taking direct responsibility for PD-level administrative and reporting workflows
  • Establishing streamlined workflows that reduce duplication of effort and minimise time engineers spend on reporting or administrative coordination
  • Owning and managing PD document control and versioning within Teamcenter or other enterprise systems
  • Leading and maintaining a comprehensive PD Risk Register, integrating technical, operational and organisational risks
  • Designing and embedding modern PD ways of working that promote agility, accountability and rapid iteration
  • Acting as a connector between PD, Engineering and Compliance — ensuring information flows openly and issues are surfaced early
  • Managing IP strategy, execution and repository of all forms of company intellectual property
  • Supporting the company Chief of Staff in corporate risk control compliance activity as it pertains to PD and Engineering

Your Background & Experience

We’re looking for a systems thinker who thrives on coordination, clarity and continuous improvement; someone who can see the big picture while managing the details that make complex product development succeed. We welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience coordinating complex projects, managing integrations or facilitating cross-functional collaboration — this might come from product development, programme management, technical governance, operations or related fields
  • Proven ability to bring people together, manage stakeholders and create clarity across teams
  • Strong documentation and communication skills with an eye for process improvement
  • Familiarity with project management tools, documentation systems or risk management approaches (experience with PLM systems like Teamcenter is valued but not essential — we can support your learning)
  • An interest in or understanding of IP management and compliance workflows
  • A relevant degree (Engineering, Project Management, Business, Science or related fields) or equivalent practical experience
  • Around 4 years in roles involving coordination, technical programme management, systems thinking or governance
  • Natural problem-solver who enjoys working across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Energy and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where you’ll help shape our ways of working

What matters most

Your ability to connect dots, facilitate collaboration and create order from complexity. If you’re someone who gets energised by helping teams work better together, who asks great questions and who can balance multiple priorities without losing sight of the goal we want to hear from you, even if your career path has been non-traditional.
