Procurement Officer – Contract

Location: Local Council, Inner Suburbs

Hours: 38 hours per week

Contract Length: Temporary contract, ASAP start until 20th December

Salary: $39 per hour super

Our client, a well-regarded local council in the inner suburbs, is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. 

About the Role

As a Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and cleaning contract data records for over 500 contracts stored in the contract management system, Open Window. You will ensure that all contract information is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the accounting system, TechOne. Your meticulous attention to detail will be instrumental in enabling the creation of an effective contract dashboard and reporting on procurement performance and compliance to senior management.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous procurement experience in a public sector organisation
• Strong understanding of contract agreements
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in OpenWindows and/or TechnologyOne/FinanceOne is highly regarded
