We have an enticing Process Technician – Utilities position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a 10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 7/7 (12-hour days and nights) roster

Heres what awaits you:

  • Display a clear commitment to safety and health and seek to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/or damage to equipment. Proactive involvement with continuous OHS improvement processes. Inspect work area for safety, equipment operation, housekeeping and cleanliness.
  • Operate in accordance with the Companys Environmental Policy, and comply with other site environmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Manage all activities in a manner that prevents pollution and minimises damage to the natural environment.
  • Work as directed to minimise equipment down-time and maximise productivity. Assist tradespersons or others with mechanical repairs, services or modifications to equipment in such a way as to maximise machine mechanical availability and increase operating efficiency.
  • Ensure inspections are carried out on all equipment before use and all tools and equipment are serviceable and safe. Ensure area remains controlled and personnel do not enter an area where machinery is in operation.
  • Provide input to regular revisions of Work Instructions to assist in ensuring they are reflective of required work to be performed. Comply with all reasonable and lawful instructions that are consistent with your contract of employment.

To thrive in this role, youll need:

Experience: 2 years experience in similar industry earthworks and haulage. Ability to work unsupervised and work with attention to detail. Able to work as part of a team and foster team building relationships (be a good team fit).

Qualification: Developed written and verbal communication skills as well as basic computer skills. Skid steer loader and wheel loader ticket. Mechanical aptitude and current HR Open Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
