PR INTERN – NOVA ENTERTAINMENT (Unpaid Internship)
We’re looking for an up-and-coming publicist to join NOVA Entertainment’s PR team as an intern, for 1-3 days per week in our Melbourne office. This is an exciting opportunity to get hands-on experience working across our radio shows such as Jase & Lauren, Fitzy, Wippa & Kate Ritchie, the Chrissy Swan Show, Smooth FM and our Nova original and licensed podcasts. This role will be unpaid and will require you to provide documented support from your Educational Institute for insurance and WHS purposes.
Tasks will include:
- Coverage tracking, reporting and maintaining our media database
- Drafting pitches and identifying key media targets
- Identifying opportunities for PR coverage and announcer/host profile building – profile pieces, Q & As, features
- Assist with drafting press releases, briefing documents and other media materials
- Attend in person events, interviews and Nova Red Rooms where relevant to assist our PR Team
This is a great opportunity for you if you:
- Are currently studying PR/comms and are interested in becoming a publicist – this internship is unpaid and you will need to be insured via the university to be considered for this opportunity.
- Are based in Melbourne and available 1-3 days a week (flexibility around days/hours) to travel to our office in South Melbourne.
- Have a passion for radio and podcasts and want to see how it all works behind the scenes
This role will be unpaid. We will be flexible around your study to ensure that you get the most out of this opportunity and still successfully complete your course.
