We’re working with a well-regarded, family-owned plumbing business to recruit a Plumbing Estimator for their Christchurch-based team.

With multimillion-dollar projects already underway – and more on the horizon – they’re looking to bring on a Plumbing Estimator who can bring practical knowledge to the table – whether you’re an experienced estimator or a qualified plumber ready to move into an office-based role.

About the Role:
This role offers the perfect step forward for a skilled plumber, site supervisor, or PM who’s confident reading plans, pricing materials, and wants to apply their trade experience in a new way. You’ll join a tight-knit, collaborative team that values getting the job done right while maintaining a great team culture.

You’ll play a vital role in pricing commercial plumbing tenders across a wide range of technically interesting builds—healthcare, education, commercial, and more.

About You:

• Experience in plumbing (trade/site-based, estimation, or project management)
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing systems and installations
• Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications
• Confidence with quoting, cost breakdowns, and supplier engagement
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
• A current plumbing license or trade certification is a bonus but not essential
