Location: Working between Wellington and Lithgow, based in Orange.

Start Date: ASAP (pending checks)

Duration: 3 Months with possible extension

Pay Rate: $ p/h super Allowances Overtime

Hours: 8.5 hours per day | 76 hours per fortnight

Work Structure: 9-day fortnight

APG is currently seeking an experienced Plant Operator/Road Worker for an assignment with Transport for NSW based in Orange.

The Role Working as part of a construction crew, you will be responsible for operating plant and supporting road construction and maintenance activities.

Duties include:

  • Operating a construction truck and transporting crew as required
  • Operating loader and other plant equipment
  • Performing routine and repetitive physical tasks within a construction crew
  • Working to direction from the Team Leader
  • Assisting with general construction and maintenance duties

Essential Requirements

  • Current White Card
  • WOF (Workers on Foot)
  • MR Driver Licence or above
  • Traffic Control (TC) ticket or willingness to obtain
  • Demonstrated experience operating a loader and/or other plant equipment
