Mobile Plant Operator

We are seeking experienced Mobile Plant All Rounder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery, including haul trucks, graders, and dozer’s, to ensure efficient site operation’s. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success and productivity of our operation’s.

Dampier Salt Limited (DSL), located in Western Australia and comprising two solar salt operations – Dampier, and Port Hedland  – is the world’s largest exporter of seaborne salt, with capacity to produce approximately 10.3 million tonnes every year.

Machinery Experience Required:

• Proficiency in operating the following equipment: 730E, 830E, 930E Komatsu Dump Trucks 793 Cat Dump Trucks Cat 16, 24 Graders Cat D10, D11 Dozers
• Experience with both electrical and mechanical haul trucks, graders, and dozers

What you require:

• Minimum of 12 months experience operating in an open pit iron ore mine site or similar (Essential)
• WA C Class Drivers Licence (Essential)
• HR Drivers Licence (Preferred)
• Previous trucking experience
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
