APG WORKFORCE are currently seeking an experienced Plant Operator for a role based in Childers, with an ASAP start and an expected duration of approximately 3 months.
About the Role:
Youll be responsible for operating a range of medium mechanical plant and trucks, including graders, rollers, and loaders, while also assisting with general labouring duties and completing required documentation. This role involves a variety of civil construction and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate plant and equipment (graders, rollers, loaders, trucks)
Perform manual labouring and handling tasks
Maintain a safe work environment
Complete relevant paperwork and reporting
Support team operations and step into additional duties when required
Work flexible hours, including potential night shifts and on-call requirements
Requirements:
Unrestricted HR Drivers Licence
White Card (Construction Industry General Safety Induction)
Proven experience in civil works construction and maintenance
Working in Proximity to Traffic (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
Strong experience operating and maintaining mobile plant
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
Highly Regarded:
RII Tickets for Grader, Roller, and Loader
HC or MC Drivers Licence
