Plant Metallurgist

• Work in a technically complex processing circuit, including triple sequential flotation.

About the Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Plant Metallurgist to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Senior Metallurgist and work on an 8:6 roster.

Your focus will be on optimising processing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective concentrate production.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Producing daily and weekly reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Driving plant improvement projects and quantifying benefits.
• Monitoring and optimising processing consumables, equipment wear, and process control systems.
• Collaborating with geology and mining teams to enhance ore deposition and blending schedules.
• Supporting maintenance planning, safety compliance, and project documentation development.
• Providing technical guidance and training for process technicians and metallurgical staff.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have experience in similar Plant Metallurgist roles, including a sound understanding of concentrator processes (e.g., ROM management and blending, crushing, grinding, flotation).

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

• A tertiary qualification in metallurgy or chemical engineering.
• Experience in metallurgical accounting.
• Familiarity with PI Historian and statistical analysis.
• A current C-class manual drivers licence.
