Your new role as the Field Service Mechanic will report to the Field Service Supervisor in either a FIFO or Residential position.
Location: Kalgoorlie
Roster Options: 10 days on 4 days off 10.5hrs OR 2 weeks on 1 week off 12.5hrs OR 8/hrs (Inclusive of meal break) – FIFO and Residential options
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for carrying out warranty and customer repairs on a range of CAT machinery and associated products
- This is a customer facing role, you will be required to offer support and advice
- Carry out maintenance on the customer fleet.
Skills & Experience:
- Australian recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post trade experience
- Must have a minimum of LR Drivers Licence
- Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Must have Forklift ticket
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an isolated and remote environment
- Ability to work and seek out work opportunities without continuous direct supervision
- Ability to organise work teams and delegate tasks
- Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
