Role Description

We are seeking a full-time People and Culture Advisor with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, to join our team in Perth, WA. The successful candidate will provide high-quality HR support and advice while collaborating with all levels of the organisation. This role involves working closely with managers and supervisors in various departments on performance and HR investigations. The People and Culture Advisor will also support in the implementation of HR initiatives to help achieve individual, team, and company objectives. This role requires the ability to travel to sites as needed.

To be considered you will have;

  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR management, IR, business or a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of five years of HR experience in a similar role with an emphasis on employee relations, performance management
  • A strong understanding and working knowledge of HR legislation
  • Experience in implementation and improvement of HR policies and procedures and HR system management
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders, employees, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within teams and independently when required
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills and attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and self-driven individual who seeks to continuously improve themselves and the HR function within the organisation
  • Experience in the mining industry is preferred but not essential
