Position Description:
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a motivated Payroll Officer to join their team as soon as possible! Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager, you will work in a medium sized team and your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee timesheets
  • Fortnightly payroll processing for 1,000 employees
  • Processing new starters and payroll adjustments
  • Interpreting various EBA’s and awards
  • Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
  • Additional duties to collaboratively assist the broader payroll team

Candidate Profile:
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll position as well as the following attributes:

  • Possess high level attention to detail
  • Energetic and positive can do attitude, with a keen eye for detail
  • Well developed verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent time management & organisational skills
  • Prior experience a large ERP system such as SAP or chris21 is highly advantageous
