An excellent opportunity awaits an experienced Parts Manager to become a part of the Daimler Trucks Laverton team. In this role, you will leverage your proven leadership and management skills, along with your extensive truck parts sales experience, to lead the Parts team and drive business performance.
About The Role:
- Oversee department financials, ensuring effective cost management
- Reporting into General Manager of dealership and overseeing a team of 20 employees
- Manage customer matters with a focus on delivering solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen long term
- Continuously review new opportunities to obtain parts business including identifying new parts customers, completing customer visits and growing the outside parts business
- Drive and role model safe work practices, holding safety toolbox meetings, hazard identification and rectification, maintenance of plant and equipment, completing inspections and leading the WHS committee meetings
- Collaborate with other departments to build and manage customer relationships to understand our customers needs and deliver expectations
- Effective management of warranty process to maximise return and ensure claims are submitted in a timely manner

- Demonstrated success in supervisory or team leadership roles, with a track record of guiding teams to achieve results

- Deep commitment to safety, with the capability to implement safety programs and continuously improve processes to ensure a safe working environment
