Parts Interpreter Heavy Commercial Vehicle

This position will require candidates to supply in depth knowledge and sourcing to their trusted clients within the transport and logistics industries. 

Youll be responsible for obtaining parts for a wide range of trucks and trailers, supporting both customers and internal sales teams.

Location: Eagle Farm

Hourly Rate: $40/hr penalties 

Shifts/Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time hours

Main Duties Will Include:

  • Providing expert parts interpretation to customers across counter, phone and email channels
  • Identify and source required parts using diagrams, OEM systems, pricing, and availability
  • Generate accurate quotes and process orders, enquiries, and sales documentation efficiently
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across heavy commercial vehicle brands and delivering guidance to customers
  • Oversee inventory control, including monitoring stock levels and documenting movements with accuracy

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Parts Interpreter – Essential
  • Strong mechanical knowledge heavy commercial vehicle components, parts and part numbers
  • Use of inventory management systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
